Any resemblance to a Parker Sonnet is, I am sure, completely intentional.  Both cap and barrel are covered in glossy lacquer.  All trim is rather fetchingly plated in a gunmetal color, including the arrow style pocket clip, wide cap lip band, and gripping section.  The steel nib is partly gold plated with a fine point and has the YIPREN name imprinted. This is a cartridge/converter pen.  You unscrew the barrel to fit either a parker style cartridge or ink converter (included).
