Graf von Faber-Castell Guilloche Fountain Pen, India Red

The coloured barrels of these writing instruments consist of a very tough material.  Each one is engraved separately with a guilloche pattern.  After engraving, each individual barrel is hand finished during a series of lacquering and polishing stages.  The barrel of the all-metal version is also engraved with a guilloche pattern.  This, like the caps and grip zones of all models, is coated with a high quality layer of rhodium.

This craftsmanship produces writing implements that are unique works of art.  No two pens or pencils are identical; each is individually hand finished.
