A modern take on the antique safety pen. The Shanghai Hero H718 has a fully retractable 10-carat gold nib with a piston filling system for a good ink capacity. The body and cap are made from metal. It is available in three finishes; brushed steel, glossy black, and glossy grey. This pen is very well finished and appointed with an ornate pocket clip band and the Hero insignia displayed on the cap top. It is presented in a paperboard box with an instruction sheet and a white pen pouch. You probably will not need to post this pen as the barrel assembly is plenty long enough not to warrant it, but the cap will post if needed. It has a good heft and would make a good choice for those that prefer a heavier pen.
