Loosely styled on the Parker 61, this is one of many different models of hooded nib pens that Hero have made over the years. Excellent value for money as always, and well made, the 329 is the pen that really launched the Hero pen company. . The cap is frosted steel with a chrome plated pocket clip. A good strong, substantial cap. It has the model number, and "MADE IN CHINA" imprinted around the lip. The pocket clip is imprinted "HERO" down the stem. The barrel unscrews to reveal an Aerometric style filling system. There is a very thin metal clutch ring, and the nib is gold plated with an iridium point. The nib would be a fine point, but Hero nibs always come up on the narrow side, so I would say this was an extra-fine point. Like the Parker 61, this pen has an arrow shape inset into the hood just behind the nib.
