A high quality Chinese made pen. This is the Jinhao model 100 Century fountain pen. It bears a striking resemblance to a Centennial sized Parker Duofold. It is made from what feels like very good quality resin with a substantial feel in the hand, without being too heavy. The cap has a large tapered black top button that holds on the washer-style gold plated pocket clip. On the top of the button, inset into the surface is the Jinhao logo. Below the clip is a very wide cap lip band. The end of the barrel is black to match the cap top. It is separated from the main barrel by a narrow gold plated band. The cap unscrews, revealing a very nicely shaped black section with gold plated bands fore and aft. The steel nib is two-tone and quite large, with the Jinhao name and logo imprinted on it. The standout feature on this pen is the gold plated skeleton overlay covering the cap and barrel which is just stunning.
This is a cartridge/converter pen. You unscrew the barrel to fit either a standard international size cartridge or you can use the original ink converter that is already fitted. Please note that the ink converter is a screw-in type.
