A large and chunky Chinese fountain pen. Both barrel and cap are made from beautifully worked wood. The pen is not overly heavy; indeed, it is not as hefty as it may appear due to its mostly wooden construction, but it does have a very good feel in the hand. The cap has a high-domed top with a substantial chrome plated pocket clip. The cap lip band is very narrow and lends an air of elegance to the design of this pen. The barrel has a rounded end giving the pen an overall streamlined torpedo shape. The large stainless steel nib is also imprinted "Jinhao". This is a cartridge/converter pen. It is fitted with an ink converter.
