Kaweco Sketch Up Pencil, 5.6mm, Brass
The earliest surviving copy of a mechanical pencil was found in the wreck of the frigate HMS Pandora, who sank in 1791 and was once sent to capture the mutineers of the bounty.
Kaweco has been producing all types of mechanical pencils since the beginning of the 20th century. The pencils from Kaweco became very popular in the 1950s due to the heyday of technical drawing. The pencils from the SKETCH UP series are still used for sketching to this day.
Pencil: 5.6mm leads, clutch action. Length 107mm.
