The Kaweco PISTON Sport CLASSIC is more than just a simple writing instrument. Based on models from the early 1900s, this fountain pen unifies classic elegance with today's technical standards, offering a writing experience that is both timeless and innovative.

Kaweco’s history dates back to the year 1883, and since then, there have been many different filling systems for fountain pens. While ink cartridges are popular, a piston mechanism allows ink to be drawn directly from the bottle into the fountain pen’s integrated ink chamber. This makes ink cartridges an unnecessary plastic addition.

Thanks to its clever compact mechanism, the Kaweco PISTON Sport is one of the smallest piston-filler pens available, yet it still holds approx. 1ml of ink (more than a standard international cartridge). The transparent ink window allows you to monitor the ink level at all times. If the ink runs out, the piston filler can be refilled quickly and easily thanks to the exceptionally smooth-running refill mechanism. This filling system also enables the use of inks in an unsurpassed variety of colours, as many ink colours are only filled in bottles.

Weighing in at just 10 grams, the piston filler is almost weightless in the hand, ensuring long-lasting writing pleasure. The precise piston mechanism, in combination with the perfectly balanced nib unit, ensures a rich ink flow and allows the nib to glide effortlessly over the paper.

The Kaweco PISTON Sport CLASSIC fountain pen is made of high-quality plastic.  Both light and robust, it is entirely manufactured, assembled and checked by hand in Germany. 

Contrary to the Kaweco PISTON Sport AL, which has an integrated clip like the most recent Kaweco ART Sport pens, this Kaweco PISTON Sport CLASSIC fountain pen can be individualised with slide-on clips in different colours, just like the rest of the Sport range.
