Kaweco Liliput Fountain Pen, Copper

I cannot express the delight I felt from the moment I put this pen to paper. I have some fountain pens that cost me three times this and this writes almost as well – but this is probably three times more durable and hardworking.

The weight and balance of the pen in the hand is an excellent fit for me and the beautiful, warm lustre of the copper feels luxurious far beyond it's price. When writing the cap is screwed on to the body of the pen and this extends the lovely little pen to the length of a full size pen, with the bonus of not losing the cap from it rolling around on the writing surface when travelling.

I have shown this pen to two people so far and both have asked me for a link to get one of their own. I am extremely happy with this and so pleased I took a chance on buying something I had never seen before. I can understand why this is such an old and trusted staple of a pen. It works make a great gift and it seems suitable for engraving if desired.
