The Moonman F9 is a lacquer-covered metal-based piston filling pen. It is a long, slim pen designed in the early 1910s style. The cap has a large domed red top "jewel" and a very attractive snake shaped pocket clip. As with many early fountain pens, the threads to engage with the cap are situated at the forward end of the gripping section, which has the advantage that you are not gripping the threads when writing. The barrel end has a blind cap that is twisted to fill the pen. Supplied in a gift box with instructions. This pen is fitted with a fine point nib.
