This set looks like it may be and old stock item. It consisted of four gold plated retractable ballpoint pens, each with a 3-d card suit symbol at the crown. All four pens are nice and shiny and exhibit no apparent damage. The top of the pen can be twisted to extend the writing point, and can be pulled off in order to refill the pen. They will accept the standard D-1 multipen refills. All four pens work perfectly. The original clear plastic box is also in great condition. I don't thin these pen have a great deal of age, but they are a fun item, and perfect for scoring the odd rubber of bridge or whist, or even canasta for the more adventurous card players.
