MS740 Diplomat Twingraph, boxed. (Medium)

A very unusual modern combination fountain pen and ballpoint.  It is a new old-stock item.  It has never been used, and has absolutely no damage on it.  It is presented here with its full retail packaging.  This pen has two caps - the fountain pen cap is a snap closure and the ballpoint "blind" cap is a twist off.  The pen is made from aluminium, and the cap and barrel have been very finely frosted to give a semi-matte appearance.  The cap has a black top piece, inset into the flat top of which is a clear button with the Diplomat logo.  The pocket clip is made from frosted steel and is printed with DIPLOMAT.  A black plastic liner to the cap peeks out at the lip.  The "blind" cap unscrews and below is the ballpoint.  Cleverly, the fountain pen cap posts over the ballpoint cap, and the ballpoint cap posts over the fountain pen cap.  The section is made from a slightly textured soft-touch resin for a very good grip, and the steel nib is also frosted.  It is in a medium point.  The original box contains an ink cartridge (this is a cartridge-only pen), and a spare ballpoint refill.  The instruction sheet is also in the box, and it all slips into the outer card box.  A very unusual modern combination pen!
