PA2977 Parker Ingenuity Luxury Line Deep Red with Chrome Trim, boxed

This is an old stock Parker Ingenuity pen.  It has never been used and is in completely undamaged and near pristine condition and is presented here in its original box with a brand new and sealed refill.  The Ingenuity pens were developed to bring the best of all writing modes together, combining the prestige and style of a fountain pen with the simplicity of a rollerball.  The finely engraved metallic hood holds the flexible, smart glide tip in a fixed but flexible position so it can easily adjust to every unique curve of your writing style. This is a large pen with a good solid heft.  It is finished with a deep red possibly anodised coating which has a soft touch to it and which is decorated cap and barrel with tiny circles.  The barrel has three polished red bands of varying widths, a very nicely fluted red finger grip and a chrome plated "nib".  The finger grip is unscrewed in order to replace the ink cartridge.  It is currently fitted with a dummy cartridge, but there is a new and sealed cartridge in the box below the pad.  The cap has a flat chrome plated top button.   At the cap lip is a chrome plated band which bears the "Parker" imprint.  The original hard-shell presentation box is also in lovely condition as is the white card outer slipcase.
