PA3668 Parker 51 Aerometric. (Medium-Broad)

This lustrous India black English Parker 51 is in excellent condition. It has no splits, cracks or chips and no noticeable surface scratches either.  The cap body has some of the usual very fine "micro" scratches to the surface frosting, but nothing that you'll see without magnification.  The cap has a chrome plated Parker arrow pocket clip of the shorter variety and the cap body is frosted with a narrow polished lip band.  Just above this polished band is the "PARKER" imprint. The grey jewel is undamaged.  The undamaged 14-carat gold hooded nib is in a what would have been a broad point in the day, but would probably be classed nowadays as a medium-braod.  Unscrew the barrel to expose the aerometric filler.  This is brushed stainless steel and is still in excellent condition with none of the usual discolouration to the press-bar or to the sac guard.  The original pli-glass ink sac has some internal ink staining as they nearly all do, is still in perfectly serviceable condition, and likely will still be in another 50 years' time. 

I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes superbly with the very smooth, wet, medium to broad width line that you would expect of a Parker 51.
