The Pilot Custom 823 is one of Pilot's flagship products. It is available in translucent brown or translucent black with black ebonite gripping section and end pieces which has been coated in traditional urushi lacquer to give them a lovely gloss and to protect them from scratches and scrapes. The large 14 carat gold nib is available in a choice of fine or medium writing widths. This pen has a vacuum filler that works in a similar way to the early Onoto pens, so it is atried and trusted filler, and allows a very generous ink capacity. This pen is presented in a luxury box lined inside with silver satin and includes a 70ml bottle of Pilot ink.
