An old stock Sheaffer Award pen in matte red finish with chrome plated trim and a medium width steel nib.  This item has never been used and is presented here in its original gift box with black card outer slipcase.  Under the flocked pad inside the box are two ink cartridges to get you started and a guarantee/instruction sheet.  This pen is also fitted with a standard Sheaffer ink converter.  This is a substantial sized pen with a good solid feel to it - not too heavy, but you know you have it in your hand.  The cap has the Sheaffer pierced pocket clip with a white spot at the shoulder. Inset into the cap top is a black disc with "Sheaffer" imprinted around the circumference.  The cap pulls off and posts securely to the barrel.  The gripping point is rubberised for a really good purchase.  The steel Sheaffer nib is in a medium point.
