CR078 The Croxley Pen, boxed (Soft Fine)

This is a large and chunky Croxley in beautiful green and black marbled celluloid with gold filled trim.  As usual, I have given this pen a thorough going over and with this one I can see some high-point plating wear to the filling lever, which has a slight wave in the middle.  Both cap and barrel have a good original gloss to them.  The cap has a large conical-ended top button holding on the stylised arrow Croxley pocket clip.  There is also a narrow gold filled cap band.  The barrel has two imprints - one saying "MADE IN GT BRITAIN", the other "THE CROXLEY PEN / A DICKINSON PRODUCT".  Both are a lovely and crisp and easy to read.  The gold filled filling lever is also in the form of an arrow.  The original Dickinson nib is in 14 carat gold and looks like a fine point to me.

I have fully serviced this pen. It fills well and writes superbly.  The nib is very smooth a writes with a lovely wet line.  The fine nib is also nice and soft.  You will get some rather attractive line width variation from a fine to a medium as you write.
