A very attractive glossy burgundy candystripe celluloid Conway 24 in excellent condition.  There really appears to be no damage to find on this outstanding-looking pen.  Both barrel and cap are lovely and glossy, and all the gold plated trim looks great with no wear that I can see.  The cap has a gold plated "CS" monogrammed pocket clip with a diamond-shaped end.  There is also a pair of narrow gold plated cap bands.  At the top of the cap is the black enamelled aluminium "jewel".  The filling lever is also gold plated and has the "CS" monogram within a diamond imprinted onto the circular end tab.  The barrel imprint is still complete and crisp, and in common with most of these pens, fairly shallow.  The nib is a nice large Conway Stewart No. 5  in 14-carat gold in medium point.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth and writes with an excellent wet and fine width line.   It has little softness to it and will manage some understated line width variation as you write.
