A very nice large sized Neptune Blue Pineider Avatar pen with large stainless steel medium point nib.  This pen is in excellent condition with absolutely no damage on it at all and looks to have hardly been used.  The cap and barrel ends are both rounded.  The cap has a very unusual pocket clip which is long and arched with fluting at the edges.  It is spring loaded and pivots on a metal rod which passed through the top of the cap.  There is a very attractive wide engraved cap lip band which includes the Pineider logo.  The barrel end is also chrome plated.  The closure on the nib is, unusually, magnetic so it will just pull off and seat itself again effortlessly.  It will post securely on the barrel end if you like your pens posted.  The gripping section is chrome plated and when you unscrew the barrel you can see that it is fitted with its original and apparently unused Pineider ink converter.  You can also use standard International ink cartridges if you prefer.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth writing and produces a good wet medium width line that I would say is on the fine side of medium.
