A glossy India black Victory Mk. V. The condition is truly excellent with no damage noted and a lovely bright and glossy appearance. The cap has a black conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and cap band. The barrel imprint is still complete and crisper than the norm, though quite shallow as most of these are. The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler. This is also in very good condition. The sac guard has a brushed finish. The original pliglass ink sac is still present and still nice and supple. It does have the usual internal ink staining, but does retain a small amount of transparency. The nib is a shiny Parker No. 10 in 14-carat gold in a rather unusual stub point. The Parker box has god a lot of staining and discolouration to the white polka-dot lid, but is otherwise still in tact and has done a sterling job protecting the pen inside.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth to write with and produces a wet line. This is a stub nib so it will give some very attractive and effortless line width variation from a fine-to-medium on the horizontals to a good generous broad on the verticals. The nib does have a little softness too, which only helps.
