An English manufacturenavy grey Parker 51 Aerometric that is still in excellent condition.  There are no splits, cracks, chips with just the usual few micro-scratches mainly to the cap frosting.  The cap body still has most of its frosting intact and looks the part. The grey cap top jewel is clear with no chips or cracks.  Around the cap lip is the imprint, showing just "PARKER".  The pastel grey colour of the barrel and hood are pure 1950s.  Around the forward end of the barrel is a very faint imprint "PARKER 51" and "MADE IN ENGLAND".   The cap has a chrome plated Parker arrow pocket clip.  The barrel and hood are still glossy with no noticeable scratches or any other damage.  I do not think that this pen has seen any more than the lightest use in its lifetime as there is still a partial factory-applied chalkmark on the barrel.  The lovely 14 carat gold hooded nib is in a fine point.  Unscrewing the barrel, the Aerometric filler is made from polished stainless steel and unmarked by damage.  The original pliglass ink sac is still fitted and is still in perfectly serviceable condition.  It even retains some of its original transparency.

I have fully serviced this pen. The extra-fine point nib feels very smooth on paper, and writes with a very pleasing wet and consistent line..
