PA3688 Parker Duofold Senior (Fine)

A lovely glossy burgundy Senior sized Aerometric Duofold with rolled gold trim and a Parker No. 35 nib.  The Senior Duofold was the second largest of the Aerometric Duofolds - outsized only by the Maxima Duofold.   The pen is in very good condition with sone very minor surface wear consisting of very fine scratches.  You will not notice these without magnification, and they do not mar the pen's glossy appearance in any way.  I can find no plating wear to the trim and no other damage that I can see either.  The cap has a burgundy conical end "jewel" and a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip.  There is also a wide cap band - also rolled gold - that has the usual "deco" engraving.  The nib is made from 14 carat yellow gold and is in a fine point.  The Aerometric filler looks very good to me, with an unblemished sac guard.  The original pliglass sac is still fitted, and still in excellent condition, retaining a majority of its original transparency.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib writes very smoothly with a wet and consistent fine line.
