A beautiful glossy India Black Parker 51. It is in excellent condition - I really can see no damage at all on this lovely pen. There are no splits, cracks, chips or noticeable scratching to barrel or hood, and these are both nice and glossy. The cap has all of its beautiful and delicate frosting intact and the grey top jewel is clear with no chips or cracks. The 14 carat gold hooded nib is undamaged and is in a broad point. Unscrewing the barrel, the Aerometric filler is made from brushed stainless steel and unmarked by damage. The original pliglass ink sac is still fitted and is still in perfectly serviceable condition with just the usual minor internal ink staining - held up to the light you can still see the ink level inside.
I have fully serviced this pen. Like most '51s the nib is a delight, being very smooth. It writes with a consistent broad width, wet line.
