This lovely English flighter set is in excellent condition.  Both items appear to have been hardly used and both are pretty much perfect still.  

Fountain Pen

The fountain pen has a chrome plated barrel end, chromed clip and chromed clutch ring.  The section is in glossy, unmarked black plastic.  The Octanium nib is in a medium point and is also completely undamaged.  The barrel unscrews revealing the original Aerometric style ink converter.  Standard Parker ink cartridges can also be used.   

Ballpoint

The ballpoint also has a chromed arrow pocket clip.  It is fitted with its original blue Parker T-Ball refill, which is still working well.  You have a vast choice of refills for this pen as a majority of new ballpoints use the Parker style refills.

Box

The presentation case is covered in dark brown fabric and has a cream coloured satin lid liner with a flocked beige pad.  Also inside the box is the original instruction sheet.  Neither piece is date-coded so the set was probably made in the mid- to late-1970s. The original paperboard slipcase is also still there and has a little scribbling to the top and some creasing to the edges.

I have fully serviced this set.  The pen fills easily and writes with a very smooth and wet medium width line.  The ballpoint works perfectly.
