PA3709 Parker 51 Custom Aerometric. (Medium)

This is a beautiful English burgundy Parker 51 with a "converging lines" pattern gold filled cap.  The cap is topped by a clear and undamaged grey "jewel" with the short gold filled Parker arrow pocket clip below.  The body of the cap is decorated with groups of vertical incised lines that converge at the top.  The cap has a couple of very small shallow dings to the side but no apparent plating wear and has a lovely shiny appearance.  The glossy burgundy coloured lucite barrel and hood are in super condition with no splits, cracks or chips and not even any noticeable surface scratches.  The barrel unscrews to reveal the brushed steel aerometric filler.  The filler is still fitted with its original pliglass ink sac that is in perfectly serviceable condition although it does have some internal ink staining through use . The nib is in 14 carat gold and is undamaged in a medium point. 

I have fully serviced this pen.  The filler works well.  The nib is super-smooth as are most '51s.  It lays down a very nice medium width line.
