This beautiful 23ct gold electroplated Targa fountain pen is in excellent, undamaged condition.  The cap and barrel have a crosshatched or "geometric" incised design.  The flat-topped cap has a black plastic disc inset into the top with a pierced pocket clip with the Sheaffer white dot at the top.  The cap lip is imprinted "Sheaffer USA".  The barrel also has a black insert in the end.  It unscrews to allow the pen to be refilled.  It is fitted with the original Aerometric-style ink converter which is undamaged and works well.  It can also be used with standard Sheaffer ink cartridges.  The nib is a superb 14 carat gold inlaid nib.  It is in a medium point.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The fountain pen I dipped to get a writing sample.  It writes very well with a little softness and will even manage a tiny bit of line width variation with no more than normal writing pressure.  The Geometric pattern is rather hard to come by these days.
