This Targa is in very good condition.  I can see no damage on it at all apart from a very small amount of general surface wear, though, to be honest, you would probably need a loupe to spot it.   The lovely frosted cap and barrel have no dings and have the delicate overall frosting.  The chrome plated pocket clip is pierced with the Sheaffer white dot at the shoulder.  This pen has a flat cap and barrel end inset with a black disc.  The cap pulls off to reveal the gorgeous inlaid nib which is in a medium point.  This is a cartridge/converter pen; you can use either a standard Sheaffer ink converter (the original squeeze-bar converter is already fitted to the pen and it works well) or a standard Sheaffer ink cartridge.  The burgundy leatherette finished box is lined inside with a pinkish coloured satin and a flocked grey pad. Also inside is the original instruction booklet.

 I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes very well indeed with a wet and consistent medium width line.
