This is a lovely brushed steel Lady Sheaffer pen.  It is in excellent condition with the only damage I can see being some slight discolouration to the gripping section around the nib housing.  You can see this quite clearly in the photographs below.  The pen has a spring-loaded  gold plated pocket clip with the Sheaffer white dot at the top.  The cap and the barrel are brushed chrome plated.  The cap lip is polished and above it is the "SHEAFFER" imprint.  The black plastic section houses the semi-hooded nib, which is made from palladium-silver alloy.  It is completely undamaged and in a fine point.  This is a cartridge/converter filler and can be used with the original Sheaffer squeeze-bar ink converter that is already fitted to the pen, or standard Sheaffer ink cartridges.  The paperboard presentation box is also in lovely condition with a small stain to the upper part of the lid.  It is covered in a textured material.  Inside the pad is made from a cream-coloured satin./ 

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth and writes with a fine width wet and consistent line.
