SH1903 Targa by Sheaffer No. 1007 Geometric Gold Plate Pencil

Size: Length - 129mm.

A gold plated Targa pencil.  This pencil is in excellent and as far as I can see totally undamaged condition.  It has no dings, no plating wear and no noticeable scratches.  The cap has the distinctive flat top with a black inlaid disk and a gold plated band above the pierced white dot pocket clip.   The design is very much inspired by 1920s flat-top pens.  The cap pulls off to reveal an apparently unused white eraser in its little metal cup.  Below this are a couple of 0.9mm leads.  It is a propel-repel pencil - you twist the cap to extend and retract the 0.9mm lead.  I have fitted a fresh lead into the mechanism so it is all ready to go. 

This is a twist-operated retractable pencil with the beautiful incised squares decoration that Shaffer called the "Geometric" pattern.

I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly.
