WA713 Waterman Kultur (Fine)
WA713 Waterman Kultur (Fine)
Date: c 1990s
Size: Length - 136mm capped; 148mm posted.
A very attractive and hardly used Kultur fountain pen in a translucent blue. The Kultur range was based on the Phileas pens only with a little less metal trim. Both barrel and cap have a polished finish, and I can find absolutely no damage at all on this pen. The cap hase a curiously shaped chrome plated pocket clip that reminds me a bit of a Skyline. It is pierced and have the Waterman "W" at the top. The barrel has a chrome plated band separating the barrel from the very unusual clear section. The barrel unscrews to allow the pen to be filled. It can accept either a standard Waterman ink converter or standard Waterman ink cartridges and is also compatible with standard sized International cartridges and ink converters. The nib is a very nice large steel alloy Waterman in a fine point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is nice and smooth and writes with a lovely fine width line.
This pen will make someone a superb and inexpensive writer. The Kultur and Phileas pens have made a name for themselves as writers that perform as well as or better than most other pens of twice or even three times their price.
