A very nice and rather unusual English silver plated Wahl-Eversharp. It is in excellent, and totally undamaged condition. This is one of the best silver plated Wahl pencils I have ever had, with no hint of any plating wear, no dings, and a lovely bright, shiny appearance with just a hint of a little patina to the silver that is so good to see on a vintage pencil. If you wished, you could no doubt polish to showroom condition in a few minutes with a jeweller's silver cloth The barrel is beautifully polished to an almost mirror-like finish. The top knob is twisted to extend the lead - it is a propel-only pencil. There is a clear imprint at the top of the barrel, and below the imprint is the spade-ended pocket clip.
It is so unusual to find these silver plated pencils in such good condition as this one.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It is a propel-only pencil and I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism. It works perfectly.
