WE551 Whal-Eversharp Gold Filled Pencil.

A beautiful American made gold filled pencil that is in very good condition - it would have been perfect save for the usual fine and wispy surface scratches that you will always get with these pen cils if they have had any use at all. The barrel is plain and polished. The crown is twisted to extend the lead - it is a propel-only pencil. It has a chatelaine/watch chain ring mounted through a boss in the top of the crown. There is a clear imprint at the top of the barrel. There are no initials engraved or any other markings and the gold filling is nice and bright with no brassing that I can find.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It is a propel-only pencil and I have fitted a fresh 1.1mm lead into the mechanism. It works perfectly.
