This is a rather nice old stock Lamy Al-Star in the Ocean Blue colour, which started out as a Special Edition pen, then was brought into the standard colour range at a later date.  This is one of a small consignment of old stock Lamy pens that I have purchased and now am offering for sale at a significant discount from their "new" price.  There is no damage at all on this pen and it has never been used.  This pen is made from anodised aluminium.  It has a good, large size, but is not a heavy pen.  The cap has a very robust thick wire pocket clip.  It pulls off.  The gripping section is well shaped to afford a very secure grip.  The barrel has a little slot in it so you can see if you still have ink in the cartridge (or converter) you are using.  Thie pen will use a standard Lamy ink cartridge (one is supplied in the pen), or a Lamy Z25 ink converter (not included).  The steel nib is in a fine point.  Around the back of the cap is the original stock label giving the pen's model number and nib width.  Also supplied is the original silver coloured paperboard stock box.
