A beautiful glossy burgundy Senior Duofold.  I rarely get the Senior sized Duofolds in this lovely bright burgundy colour. This pen is in excellent condition. There are no noticeable scratches on either cap or barrel, and I can't see any plating wear to the trim either.  The cap has a burgundy conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and a rolled gold "deco" engraved cap band.  The barrel unscrews for access to the Aerometric filler.  This is made from chrome plated steel and is also in very good condition with no apparent tarnishing on the squeeze bar.  The original pli-glass ink sac is still nice and supple and retains a good deal of its original transparency with the minimum of internal ink staining.  The nib is a large 14 carat gold Parker No. 35 in a medium point.  It too is in excellent condition.

I have fully serviced this pen.  Because of the large ink sac, it holds a good amount of ink.  The nib is very smooth with a good amount of iridium on the tip.  It writes with a lovely wet and consistent medium width line.  It has a little softness too and will produce a tiny bit of understated line width variation as you write.
