A really rather unusual P16 in very glossy silver lacquer. This is the later version of the P16 with a cartridge/converter filling mechanism. It is currently fitted with its original ink converter, but there is a Pelikan cartridge also in the box. This pen is in excellent condition and whilst it looks like it has been used, I can find no damage on it at all. The cap has a very sculptural wrap-around black metal pocket clip with the Pelikan logo in black on the upper surface of the cap top. The barrel has a black end piece and a black section. This unscrews to allow filling. The steel nib is in a medium point. The original plastic tubular box is also in excellent condition with the original sales label.
I have just dipped the nib to get the writing sample below. It is a very smooth writing nib and produces an excellent wet and medium width line.
