This is a rather pretty looking glossy burgundy Parker 17 Super pencil.  I really don't see many of these pencils around for some reason - it is much easier to find their matching fountain pens.  This example is in escellent condition with no damage on it at all that I could see.  I rather think that this pencil has not really been used as it still boasts its factory-applied chalk mark to the barrel.  These are designed to rub off with any kind of use.  The cap has a burgundy conical-ended top button that holds on the rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip.  at the cap lip is a wide rolled gold band.  The cap pulls off to reveal an apparently unused but age-hardened pink eraser with a space below for storing spare 0.9mm leads.  The glossy barrel has a rolled gold point and a very clear imprint "PARKER 17 / MADE IN ENGLAND".  This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the cap.  I have fitted a fresh 0.9mm lead into the pencil and it is working perfectly.  

I have fully serviced this pencil.  It is in super condition.
