PA3671 Parker Victory Mk. V. (Soft Medium)
Date: c1954
Size: Capped - 137mm; posted - 160mm.
A glossy jet black Victory Mk. V. Condition is very good. Barrel and cap are both glossy with no splits, cracks or chips or even any noticeable scratches. Being very picky, the only damage I can see on this pen is a tiny bit of plating wear to the edges of the pocket clip. This is only with magnification. The cap has a black conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and "deco" engraved cap band. The barrel imprint is rather shallow as many of these 50s and 60s imprints are, but it is just about all still there and as a bonus, it includes the date code for 1954. The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler. This is also in excellent condition with no discolouration to the sac guard. In common with all early Aerometric pens, the filler is chrome plated. The original pliglass ink sac is still present and still nice and supple. The nib is a Parker No, 10 size nib in 14 carat gold in a medium point.
I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth to write with and produces a wet, medium width line. It is soft and will give you some very attractive line width variation from a fine to a good medium with little effort.
