A beautiful glossy dark bottle green Senior Duofold.  I rarely get the Senior sized Duofolds in this lovely green colour - indeed, the green is the least common colourway with these pens. This pen is in excellent condition. There are no noticeable scratches on either cap or barrel, and I can't see any plating wear to the trim either.  The cap has a green conical top "jewel" with a rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip and a rolled gold "deco" engraved cap band.  There is a complete imprint to the side of the barrel that includes a very faint date code for 1955.  The barrel unscrews for access to the Aerometric filler.  This is made from chrome plated steel and this is where the only damage is on the pen - some discolouration to the sac guard, though of course this is not visible when using the pen and you will only see it when you fill up.  The original pli-glass ink sac is still nice and supple and has a milky white colour caste.  The nib is a large 14 carat gold Parker No. 35 in a broad point.  It too is in excellent condition.

I have fully serviced this pen.  Because of the large ink sac, it holds a good amount of ink.  The nib is very smooth with a good amount of iridium on the tip.  It writes with a lovely wet and consistent broad width line.  It has a little softness too and will produce a tiny bit of understated line width variation as you write.
