A beautiful Burnham pen in splendid glossy green and black marbled casein.  I am not 100% sure which model this is as it does not have a barrel imprint.  It is a small-ish pen but still eminently useable.  The pen is in very good condition with no cracks, splits or chips to either cap or barrel.  There are no noticeable surface scratches either. The only real problem with this pen is that the pocket clip has lost most of its original gold plating.  This is very common with these 1950s Burham pens as the plating was very thin to start with - hardly more than a gold wash.  The cap is topped with a black top-button that holds on the tapered clip.   A wide cap band near the lip and the filling lever are also gold plated.   This pen has a very cute little nib marked "Burnham 14 carat gold".  It is still nice and shiny and in a fine point.  This pen is not imprint at all and so is probably quite a late production model.  

I have fully serviced this pen.   The nib writes well - very smooth and produces a good wet line.  It is a soft nib - I would class it as semi-flexible and it will produce some very attractive line width variation from a solid medium to an extra-fine.
