A very nice and rather unusual KLewel Pen Co. propelling pencil made from a lovely amber and black celluloid. This pencil is in excellent, glossy condition with no damage on it that I was able to spot at all. It has a large black top button that holds on the washer-style pocket clip. The button will unscrew to reveal a space for storing spare 1.18mm leads. The pocket clip is gold filled with "Jewel" imprinted down the stem and has a ball-shaped terminal. On the barrel is the imprint "Jewel (REGD) / Jewel Pen Co. London". The pencil has an extend/retract mechanism that works by twisting the gold filled point. I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead and it works perfectly.
A very interesting and very unusual pencil.
