A very attractive Victory Mk. IV in the rather unusual pale grey colour that I can never seem to find in anything but dreadful condition.  This example, I am pleased to say, belies that trend and is in as good a condition as you are ever likely to find.  The bane of these grey Victorys is ambering to the pale grey plastic, something which this pen has hardly any of.  Everything on this pen appears to be tip-top. The tapered cap has a large conical-ended grey top button holding on the washer style gold filled tapered Parker pocket clip.  There are also two narrow gold filled cap bands.  The barrel blind cap unscrews easily and smoothly to reveal the aluminium filling button.  The metal is still bright and unmarked.  The barrel imprint is still excellent - sharp and clear though rather shallow as most of these imprints tend to be.  The nib is still shiny and is a 14 carat gold Parker Newhaven nib in a medium point.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The button filler works very nicely.  The nib is very smooth in use and writes with a lovely wet and consistent mediumd width line.  This nib does have some softness and will easily manage line width variation from a medium on the verticals to a fine on the horizontals.
